Overview
The Alation connector syncs your data catalog data into analytics-ready tables in your data warehouse. Pull articles, tables, queries, and users from the Alation API, with Ingest handling auth, pagination, and retries so the tables stay current.
What you can sync
Ingest syncs the following Alation data into your data warehouse, each as its own table refreshed on your schedule:
- Articles
- Tables
- Queries
- Users
Authentication
Refresh token exchanged for a short-lived access token
In Alation, go to Account Settings > Authentication to create a refresh token.
You enter credentials in a secure form, never in chat. Ingest stores and rotates them for you.
