Overview
The Zulip connector syncs your team chat data into analytics-ready tables in your data warehouse. Pull streams, messages, and users from the Zulip API, with Ingest handling auth, pagination, and retries so the tables stay current.
What you can sync
Ingest syncs the following Zulip data into your data warehouse, each as its own table refreshed on your schedule:
- Streams
- Messages
- Users
Authentication
HTTP Basic Auth (email + API key)
Generate the API key from Personal settings > Account & privacy > Manage your API key; same mechanism for Zulip Cloud and self-hosted servers.
You enter credentials in a secure form, never in chat. Ingest stores and rotates them for you.
