Overview
The When I Work connector syncs your employee scheduling data into analytics-ready tables in your data warehouse. Pull shifts, employees, and time entries from the When I Work API, with Ingest handling auth, pagination, and retries so the tables stay current.
What you can sync
Ingest syncs the following When I Work data into your data warehouse, each as its own table refreshed on your schedule:
- Shifts
- Employees
- Time entries
Authentication
Token-based (private developer key + user credentials)
Requires admin-level access; request API credentials directly from When I Work rather than self-serve signup.
You enter credentials in a secure form, never in chat. Ingest stores and rotates them for you.
