Overview
The Canvas LMS connector syncs your learning management data into analytics-ready tables in your data warehouse. Pull courses, enrollments, assignments, submissions, and users from the Canvas LMS API, with Ingest handling auth, pagination, and retries so the tables stay current.
What you can sync
Ingest syncs the following Canvas LMS data into your data warehouse, each as its own table refreshed on your schedule:
- Courses
- Enrollments
- Assignments
- Submissions
- Users
Authentication
OAuth2 (personal access token for testing)
Generate a personal access token from a user's Canvas profile for testing, or register a Developer Key for the full OAuth2 flow in production; each institution runs its own Canvas domain.
You enter credentials in a secure form, never in chat. Ingest stores and rotates them for you.
