Overview
The Samsara connector syncs your IoT fleet and asset-tracking data into analytics-ready tables in your data warehouse. Pull vehicles, drivers, routes, and safety events from the Samsara API, with Ingest handling auth, pagination, and retries so the tables stay current.
What you can sync
Ingest syncs the following Samsara data into your data warehouse, each as its own table refreshed on your schedule:
- Vehicles
- Drivers
- Routes
- Safety events
Authentication
API token (Bearer); OAuth 2.0 for marketplace apps
Create a token in the Samsara Dashboard under Settings > API Tokens > "Add an API Token"; shown once.
You enter credentials in a secure form, never in chat. Ingest stores and rotates them for you.
