Overview
The Rocket.Chat connector syncs your team communication data into analytics-ready tables in your data warehouse. Pull channels, messages, and users from the Rocket.Chat API, with Ingest handling auth, pagination, and retries so the tables stay current.
What you can sync
Ingest syncs the following Rocket.Chat data into your data warehouse, each as its own table refreshed on your schedule:
- Channels
- Messages
- Users
Authentication
Token headers (X-Auth-Token + X-User-Id)
An admin on the target instance generates a Personal Access Token from Account settings, since each Rocket.Chat deployment is self-hosted.
You enter credentials in a secure form, never in chat. Ingest stores and rotates them for you.
