Overview
The Heap connector syncs your product analytics data into analytics-ready tables in your data warehouse. Pull events, users, sessions, and segments from the Heap API, with Ingest handling auth, pagination, and retries so the tables stay current.
What you can sync
Ingest syncs the following Heap data into your data warehouse, each as its own table refreshed on your schedule:
- Events
- Users
- Sessions
- Segments
Authentication
API key (Basic auth: app_id + api_key)
An admin retrieves the app_id and generates an api_key under Account > Manage > Privacy & Security.
You enter credentials in a secure form, never in chat. Ingest stores and rotates them for you.
