Overview
The Mattermost connector syncs your team communication data into analytics-ready tables in your data warehouse. Pull channels, posts, users, and teams from the Mattermost API, with Ingest handling auth, pagination, and retries so the tables stay current.
What you can sync
Ingest syncs the following Mattermost data into your data warehouse, each as its own table refreshed on your schedule:
- Channels
- Posts
- Users
- Teams
Authentication
Personal access token or OAuth2
Generate a personal access token from Profile > Security once an admin enables the feature, or register an OAuth2 app.
You enter credentials in a secure form, never in chat. Ingest stores and rotates them for you.
