Overview
The CIMIS connector syncs your agricultural weather data into analytics-ready tables in your data warehouse. Pull stations, daily data, and hourly data from the California Irrigation Management Information System API, with Ingest handling auth, pagination, and retries so the tables stay current.
What you can sync
Ingest syncs the following CIMIS data into your data warehouse, each as its own table refreshed on your schedule:
- Stations
- Daily data
- Hourly data
Authentication
AppKey (request parameter)
Register a free account at cimis.water.ca.gov and click Get AppKey from your account page.
You enter credentials in a secure form, never in chat. Ingest stores and rotates them for you.
