Overview
The Ellucian Banner connector syncs your student information system data into analytics-ready tables in your data warehouse. Pull students, courses, sections, and grades through Ellucian's Ethos Integration platform, with Ingest handling auth, pagination, and retries so the tables stay current.
What you can sync
Ingest syncs the following Ellucian Banner data into your data warehouse, each as its own table refreshed on your schedule:
- Students
- Courses
- Sections
- Grades
Authentication
Ethos Integration API key exchanged for a bearer token
Banner has no standalone public API — access requires an existing Ellucian/Banner deployment with Ethos Integration configured by an admin.
You enter credentials in a secure form, never in chat. Ingest stores and rotates them for you.
